A truncated version of the tourist run is still operating from Hull to Wakefield, but in 1992 the CPR equipment was replaced with a Swedish locomotive and passenger cars. No doubt it makes economic sense, but it seems odd that we're maintaining another country's railway heritage rather than our own.
